About the Babolat Viper Soft
The Viper Soft exists for players who want the Viper's shape without the full force of its face. The head stays a diamond and the balance stays high, so the weight and sweet spot are where the line puts them; what changes is the face, which is medium rather than hard. That widens the margin on off-centre contact without turning the racket into something else. It is still filed at advanced level, because a high-balanced diamond asks the same things of a swing regardless of face stiffness.
