Professional Padel in the US

Professional padel arrived in the United States years after its clubs and courts did: Premier Padel's first stop in the country came only in 2025, in Miami, well behind the building boom that had already reshaped Florida, Texas and California. The results since read like a scene still finding its level rather than one arriving in full. Brittany Dubins is the exception — the first player from the United States, man or woman, to win a CUPRA FIP Tour title, and the country's clearest case of a homegrown professional breaking through. Beyond her, the national squad is wide rather than deep: 22 ranked men and women between them, with almost none yet inside the sport's global top tier. FIP Silver events now run through Texas as well as Florida, giving the domestic tour somewhere to develop players before they travel to compete.

It spent three decades as a private-club curiosity before the club-building boom of the 2020s turned it into one of the fastest-growing racket sports in the country.
