About the Adidas Adipower Carbon Ctrl
Adipower is the oldest line adidas makes and the most versioned, and the Carbon Ctrl is its control build with a stiffened face. The teardrop head and the low balance are what define it: weight sits back towards the hand, which makes the racket quick to move and forgiving to recover with, while the carbon face returns more of the pace you generate. That combination is unusual, and it is why the build sits at advanced level rather than as an accessible option. Within the line it pairs with the plain Ctrl, which shares the balance with a softer face, and sits opposite the Multiweight builds, whose balance you set yourself. adidas builds on EVA.
