Adidas Adipower Ctrl

The control build of adidas's Adipower. A teardrop head with a low balance and a medium face, at advanced level. It is the Carbon Ctrl without the stiffened face, so it feels softer on contact. Within a line this deep, the build word carries most of the information on a listing, so read it before the model year.

About the Adidas Adipower Ctrl

The Adipower Ctrl is the control build of adidas's longest-running line. The teardrop head and low balance pull the weight back towards the hand, which makes the racket fast to move and easier to recover with at the net than a forward-balanced frame. The face is medium rather than carbon-stiffened, which is the difference between this and the Carbon Ctrl beside it: the same geometry, a softer response. It sits at advanced level despite the control profile, because a low-balanced racket asks the player to generate the pace rather than the frame. adidas builds on EVA across its padel range. Within the Adipower the build word carries most of the information on a listing: the line runs from Multiweight frames you balance yourself down to accessible Light builds, so two rackets sharing the name can differ by a great deal.
