Adidas Adipower Light

The lighter build of adidas's Adipower. A teardrop head at medium balance with a soft face, at intermediate level. It is the Carbon Light without the stiffened face. It sits among the more forgiving builds of adidas's deepest range, below the Multiweight frames and beside the Carbon Light.

About the Adidas Adipower Light

The Adipower Light drops the swingweight of adidas's longest-running frame while keeping its teardrop head and medium balance. The face is soft, which is what separates it from the Carbon Light beside it: same geometry, more give on contact. That makes it one of the more forgiving builds in a line that runs from Multiweight frames you balance yourself down to accessible weights. Within the Adipower the build word carries most of the information, because the line is deep enough that two listings can differ by a great deal while sharing a name. adidas builds on EVA. Against the plain Ctrl builds it trades their low balance for a medium one, which puts a little more weight behind the ball at the cost of some of their manoeuvrability. Adipower generations are seasons rather than levels, so a model year on a listing describes when the racket was sold and not where it sits.
