About the Adidas Adipower Multiweight Ctrl
The Multiweight Ctrl combines the two things that define the Adipower line: an adjustable balance system and a control-biased frame. The weights let you set where the mass sits rather than accepting a fixed balance, and the Ctrl geometry starts that adjustment from further back in the hand than the plain Multiweight does. The head is a teardrop with a medium face. It is filed at advanced level for the same reason as the standard Multiweight: the system is only worth having if you know what balance you are looking for. Within the Adipower it is the most configurable build of the most versioned line adidas makes. adidas builds on EVA. Against the plain Multiweight it starts further back in the hand; against the Carbon Ctrl it trades a fixed stiffened face for an adjustable balance.
