About the Adidas Match Light

Match and Drive are the two frames adidas builds for players starting out, and this is the lighter Match. Where the Drive is round with a low balance, the Match runs a teardrop head at medium balance, so it carries a little more weight towards the tip and gives a bit more back on contact. The face is soft, which is what keeps it forgiving despite the more forward profile. There is no performance build above it in the line, so the decision is between this and the Drive rather than between levels of the Match. adidas builds on EVA across its padel range. Sold across 2024 and 2026, which are seasons of one racket rather than two.
