About the Babolat Air Vertuo
Vertuo is the accessible end of Babolat's pyramid and the face is what defines it: fibreglass rather than the carbon used further up, which flexes more on contact and keeps the ball in play. The Air build gives that platform a teardrop head at a low balance, so the racket stays easy to move while carrying a little weight forward. The face is soft. As across Babolat's range the first word is the shape rather than a level, so Air, Counter and Technical Vertuo are three head shapes of one racket and not three tiers of it. That makes the choice within the line a matter of which shape suits your contact rather than how much racket you want.
