Head Speed Junior

Name: Head Speed Junior
Brand: Head

The junior build of HEAD's all-court family. A short, light teardrop with a low balance and a soft face, for beginners. Some merchant listings file it at advanced level, which is a data error on a children's racket.

About the Head Speed Junior

Speed is HEAD's all-court family and the successor to the older Alpha line, and the Junior is the build for younger players. It is a shorter, lighter frame with a low balance, which is what a developing player needs to swing the racket properly rather than drag it through contact. The face is soft and the core is foam, as across HEAD's padel range, so it is forgiving on off-centre hits. It is worth flagging that some retail listings mark this racket as advanced: that is a feed error rather than a description of the frame, and the specification here reflects what the racket actually is. Sold across 2023 and 2025.
