About the Babolat Viper Technical Soft
The Technical Soft takes Babolat's most demanding combination - the Viper platform in the Technical diamond head - and softens the face. The balance stays high and the head stays a diamond, so the geometry is unchanged; the soft face is what gives some margin back on contact that is not quite clean. It is the build to look at if the Technical Viper is the right shape but too much racket. Within the line the Viper Soft applies the same idea with a medium face, and the Air and Counter builds change the head shape instead. Babolat builds on EVA across its padel range. Within the Babolat Viper line the build word is what separates two listings, since a model year describes the season a racket was sold in rather than where it sits in the range.
