About the Black Crown Patron Xtrem

The Patron is one of Black Crown's performance frames, sitting beside the Piton, the Win and the Invictus rather than within any of them, and the Xtrem is its stiffened build. The head is a hybrid shape, between the round Piton and the brand's more attacking frames, and the balance is medium, so the weight is not committed to either half of the court. What Xtrem changes is the face, which is hard: more of the pace you generate comes back. Black Crown versions most of its rackets by year rather than by tier name, so a number on a listing is a season and not a level. Black Crown builds on EVA. Within the Black Crown Patron line the build word is what separates two listings, since a model year describes the season a racket was sold in rather than where it sits in the range.
