Questions about the Head Coello Pro
Is the Head Coello Pro too much racket for a club player?
For most, yes. The high balance and small, high sweet spot cost you control when contact is not clean, and the swing weight is demanding over three sets. The Coello Motion keeps the same character with a larger sweet spot and more comfort, and is the more sensible choice for anyone who is not competing regularly.
What is the difference between the Coello Pro and the Coello Motion?
Stiffness and forgiveness, not shape. Both are diamond frames aimed at attacking players. The Motion has a larger sweet spot and more give at contact, which makes off-centre hits cost less and the racket easier to keep swinging late in a match. The Pro is firmer and more direct.
What core does the Head Coello Pro use?
Power Foam, which is HEAD's polyethylene core rather than EVA. HEAD builds Coello, Extreme, Radical, Speed and Gravity on it. Foam is softer and more elastic at contact than a dense EVA, so the racket is less punishing on the arm than its stiffness suggests.
Is the Coello Pro the racket Arturo Coello plays?
The line is developed around him and his frames come from it, but a professional's racket is commonly customised in weight and balance beyond what is sold in shops. Treat the signature as identifying the line built with him rather than a guarantee that the retail frame is identical.
Coello Pro or Head Extreme?
Both are power families. Coello is the signature diamond built specifically around finishing at the net, and it is the more specialised of the two. Extreme is HEAD's other power line and spans a wider set of builds, so it is easier to find a version of it that matches your level.
