About the Wilson Defy LS V1

Defy is Wilson's power line and the LS is the build for players who want the diamond head without its full mass. The head shape and the high balance are unchanged from the standard V1: what moves is the swingweight, which makes the racket easier to recover with at the net and easier to hold up through a long match. The face is medium rather than hard, so it is more forgiving on off-centre contact than the Pro build. V1 is a generation rather than a tier, so a Defy LS V1 and a Defy LS V2 are consecutive seasons of the same racket. Javi Garrido plays the Pro build of this line. Wilson builds on EVA. Sold across 2025 and 2026.
