Pretoria hosted its first Premier Padel P1 in 2026, an indoor event that added South Africa to the tour's list of P1 hosts. Alejandro Galan and Federico Chingotto, seeded second, won the men's title. In the women's draw, top seeds Gemma Triay Pons and Delfina Brea Senesi took the title as well, the higher seeding holding in both categories. The results gave Pretoria its first champions, an opening chapter for a tournament whose full history is still to be written.
