About the Head Extreme Pro
The head is a diamond, which puts the weight and the sweet spot high, where the output comes from and why it asks for clean contact. The balance is high, which is what loads the tip. The face is hard, so it returns more of the pace you generate and asks for cleaner contact in exchange. The core is foam rather than EVA, which is why it feels more damped at contact than the stiffness rating suggests. Within the Head Extreme, Pro is the build word that separates this racket from its siblings; a model year on a listing describes the season it was sold in rather than where it sits in the range. Sold in 2025. The Extreme is HEAD's power family, and the 2026 collection is built as the Extreme Pro, the Extreme Motion and the Extreme Team, with the Pro the stiffest of the three.
