The Extreme is HEAD's power family, and the 2026 collection is built as the Extreme Pro, the Extreme Motion and the Extreme Team, with the Pro the stiffest of the three. One and One X builds sit alongside them, and an Evo build sits at the recreational end: Evo is HEAD's level marker rather than a performance tier, so an Extreme Evo is the accessible version of the frame rather than a step above it. HEAD tiers consistently across its families, so an Extreme Team and a Radical Team sit at the same level in different shapes.

What replaced the Head Delta?

The Extreme range. HEAD renamed the line and carried the Pro, Motion and Team tiers across, so an Extreme Pro is the direct equivalent of a Delta Pro. It did the same thing earlier when Alpha became Speed.

Extreme or Coello — which is the more aggressive?

Coello is the more specialised. It is the signature diamond built specifically around finishing at the net. Extreme is HEAD's other power family and spans a wider set of builds, which makes it easier to find a version matched to your level.

Which Extreme should an intermediate player buy?

The Team, or the Motion if you already strike the ball cleanly. The Pro is a competition build and its stiffness costs you control when contact is not clean.

What is Power Foam?

HEAD's polyethylene core, which is what its spec sheets mean by foam rather than EVA. It is softer and more elastic at contact, so it absorbs more of the impact than a dense EVA core of the same nominal hardness.
