About the Wilson Defy Pro V1

The Defy Pro is the tour build of Wilson's diamond-shaped power line, and Javi Garrido plays it. The diamond head puts the weight and the sweet spot high, which is where its output comes from and why it asks for clean contact in return. The face is hard, so it returns more of the pace you generate rather than absorbing it. Beneath it in the line sit the standard V1, which shares the head and balance with a marginally more forgiving face, and the LS and Light builds, which drop the swingweight. V1 is a generation rather than a level, so version numbers across seasons describe the same racket. Wilson builds on EVA. Sold across 2025 and 2026.
