Mexico City hosted this FIP Platinum stop in 2024. Alex Ruiz and Alejandro Arroyo won the men's draw, while Alejandra Alonso De Villa and Lucía Sainz Pelegrí took the women's title. The tournament sits at the Platinum level of the FIP tour, a tier above the FIP's Gold events and one that draws professional pairs competing for ranking points and prize money outside the Premier Padel calendar. Both champion pairs added a Platinum trophy to their records from the Mexican capital, a result that now stands alongside the rest of the FIP's Mexican calendar.
