Head Delta

HEAD lists the Delta as a padel line with Pro, Motion, Elite and Junior tiers, plus an Evo Delta at the recreational end. HEAD renamed the line Extreme, carrying the Pro, Motion and Elite tiers across, which is why Delta and Extreme listings often describe the same position in the range. The two are kept apart here deliberately: a Delta Pro was sold and is still searched for by name, so folding it into the Extreme would tell a reader looking for it that it never existed.

Who plays the Head Delta?

Enrique Goenaga, Juan Zamora Perez play the Head Delta on tour. Sponsorships move between seasons, so this reflects the rackets they are carrying now rather than their whole careers.

Is the Head Delta still made?

No. HEAD retired the Delta name and replaced the line with the Extreme range, which carries the same Pro, Motion and Team structure. Delta rackets are still sold as remaining stock and on the second-hand market, but they are not part of the current HEAD line-up.

What replaced the Head Delta?

The Extreme range. HEAD has done this twice in recent years, renaming Alpha to Speed and then Delta to Extreme, and in both cases it carried the tier names across rather than changing what each build meant. If you liked a Delta Pro, the Extreme Pro is the direct equivalent.

Is a Head Delta still worth buying?

It can be, if you find one in good condition at a discount. The frame did not become worse when the name changed, and last-generation rackets are usually the best value in padel. The trade is availability: you will not be able to replace it with the same model, and stock of a discontinued line dries up.

What is the difference between a Delta Pro and a Delta Motion?

The same difference the names carry elsewhere in the HEAD range. Pro is the stiffest and most stable build, aimed at players who generate their own power. Motion keeps a similar profile in a lighter and faster package, which makes it easier to swing through a long match.
