Ocean Air Performance Grenade
The Grenade comes from Ocean Air's 2023 padel collection and is not part of the current range. It was built with EVA of intermediate hardness and a flexible carbon face, positioned for players with command of the shot and a fast game, and it sat below the brand's Pro Series in firmness.
Ocean Air Performance is a Miami company that came to padel from beach tennis, and its frames follow the conventional structure: a carbon hitting surface over EVA of varying density, with the firmest combinations reserved for its Pro Series. Names are marketed by intention rather than by specification, which suits a market where most buyers are choosing between shapes for the first time.
