Flavio Abbate

Flavio Abbate was born in Siracusa and came up through the Italian system rather than the Spanish academies that produce most of the tour, which makes his climb into the world's top sixty unusual for a player of his age. He plays the right court in a settled young partnership and has represented Italy in continental team competition. He currently partners Alonso Rodriguez Martinez and is ranked No. 50 in the FIP world rankings.
