The LA10 Quantum 12K is a diamond head on a 12K carbon face over a high-density core, built for the part of Augsburger's game that ends points from above. A diamond concentrates mass at the top of the head, which is what produces the power, and asks for a cleaner contact in exchange; it is not a forgiving first racket. Nox's Quantum treatment adds lateral perforations that redistribute weight and quicken the swing, and the photochromic paint that reacts to light is cosmetic rather than structural.
