Cecilia Reiter's twelve-year partnership with Carolina Navarro was one of the first great sustained alliances in women's padel, a pairing that held the world number one ranking for close to four unbroken years and won a doubles world title together. The Argentine left Buenos Aires for Spain at a time when the women's circuit offered little security, and her longevity at the top became the argument that it was worth doing. She retired with 23 titles from 34 finals.
